Im new here and Just started provera today since alesse (Bc) 4x a day did nothing to stop my bleeding. I guess I have a non- traditional type of PCOS... After the Issues I had with the birth control mainly crazy mood swings I am a lil afraid.. Does anybody have the PCOS that causes heavy bleeding??? HELP lol.....

Hi, I didn't have heavy bleeding but I had NONSTOP spotting/bleeding. Provera worked wonders for me but then it would start again with the next cycle. Hubby and I are TTC now so we started taking clomid and now I'm the opposite. I don't bleed EVER unless I take provera to induce a period.

I'm on my first cycle of Provera now too. I'm on the 6th day. Although I never have periods. So should be interesting if it works. Clomid to follow. Let me know how it works for you ladies.

Round 1: 06/27/09: Provera 10 days, Clomid, 50mg, CD 5-9, OPK says "O" on 07/25, blood test shows "O" on 7/28, BFN!

Round 2: 08/06/09: Provera 10 days, Clomid 5-9, didn't ovulate

Im ony my 4th day of proverva and Ive had like 2 hot flashes and HORRIBLE MOODSWINGS!!!
Hopefully this works for me. I havent had a real period besides spotting once Cuz of metaformin Since christmas time.
Have been trying to baby for almost 2 year just started Meds The month of june

Meds:
Metaformin 1000mg a day
Medroxypr Ac 10 mg (generic for Proverva Only 5 pills)

Anyone Have any suggesstions.... To help Me beleive this might work?

Oh yea towards the end, the moodswings were in full swing.
