Hello Cysters!

I just started taking Yasmin (4 days) and I am experiencing some stomach pain, dizziness and extreme fatigue...

I guess my question is ...

Does this go away?

I have never taken BCP before. We TTC'd for 10 yrs before conceiving Marcus... I am now 14 wks post pardum ...

Any help would be appreciated!

I started on Yasmin 6 weeks after delivering shelby in August. It was HORRIBLE!!! I had all the symptoms you described, it was worse than the first trimester!! I felt so weird sometimes, like if I was driving, I didn't feel very confident. The headaches and abdominal pain were horrible. They switched me to Mircette (my request) but have had break through bleeding for the past 3 months on it. I go back to my ob/gyn next month for my 6 month checkup. I look forward to talking to him more in depth with the research I am doing on BCP's and PCOS and hopefully we can find something that works for me! Good luck to you! I didn't last more than the first month on Yasmin!

My first three months on Yasmin, I had nasty stomach aches at night but they got progressively better. I also found myself hungry all the time, but that too went away. I love Yasmin, it seems to control my hormone imbalances and makes me feel like a normal girl.

After posting this, I contacted my Dr.
I was told to stop taking the Yasmin and see if the stomach pain went away. And to see if AF would start.
Within 2 days, the pain was gone.. and within 5 days AF came.

I am currently not taking anything. We haven't been "active" anyway... still not quite healed fully from Marcus' birth.

Will revisit the BCP issue at my next appt... in April.

I am on Yasmin--Want to go back to the ortho-cyclen and PRONTO! (or something else) we'll see at the dr next week.
