Okay, I'm now about to invest in my 4th treatment to bring on AF: Natural Progesterone. After a lot of research it seems that it might be better for me to go with NP pellets that dissolve under the tongue rather than the cream so that it goes directly to my bloodstream and not to the liver/kidneys.
I just have two questions:
1. Looking at things like Progon-B, it says take it mid-cycle til AF starts. Well...I'm clueless about my cycle. I don't know anything about ovulation, cycles, all that stuff. I know that sounds crazy, but when you've never had a period (naturally), you don't really know how your body works. I do know that I have PMS symptoms mid-month, but AF never comes. So - can I just take it for around 12-14 days each month and then stop?
2. I couldn't take Provera because it made me have heart attack/blood clot symptoms. It is my understanding that NP does not really have side effects like the synthetic progesterone. Should the natural stuff be safe for me then?
I hope I don't sound too dumb here, I'm just new to the alternative route and am desperate for something that works. I haven't had AF since February.
