Hi! I'm new here and thought I should introduce myself. My name is Kim, I'm 31 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS, IR and Metabolic Syndrome in late August '07. I've been on Metformin since September and my doc is now upping my dose to 1500 mgs. per day. I'm on a IR diet and I'm trying to read up on all the information, etc. I can get my hands on.

My husband and I have been married since Oct. '05 and we'd like to try to conceive later this year, so I hope that I can get my weight, etc. under control the first half of this year and then keep losing while we try. I've been charting and I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating, but I'm going to see my GYN this month for an ultrasound (I was diagnosed by an endo).
