It's different for everyone. To help it along make sure you are trying a low carb way of life.
GOOD LUCK!!

Ditto.
I don't know what dose you are currently on. Most doctors start at 500mg and work their way up until they find a dose that works well. For some women 500mg works. Some see results immediately, some take awhile. Some get sick, some don't. Those that do get sick usually find the problems go away in a week or so. The magic number for me was 2500mg, but my goodness, my stomach just couldn't take it. I've just started over after being off it for a few years. Actually, I'm starting again with Actos plus met. Maybe I won't need such a high dose with that. I also second the low carbing. I sincerely give credit to Atkins for having Jamie. I honestly do not believe he would be here today without the diet. It wasn't about weight loss. I got pregnant immediately. It was about getting control of my body. Atkins isn't the only low carb diet around. I'd search around for the one that suits you best, or just follow the basic rules of no white food products and no sugars. However you like to do it.
I couldn't do low cal & low carb together. It takes too much willpower and that's one thing I don't have for sure. You're doing great. Stick with what works for you!!
