Just Wondering...... How Often Do You Wash Your Hair??
Hi
I was wondering this last night. How often do you all wash your hair?? When my hair was long - I used to wash it once a week. And only brush it once a week to.. It's really curly so I can get away with it.................
Anyway, since I got it cut, I need to wash / brush it more, how do you all manage?? How do you find the hair loss if you wash it every day?? Or every other??
My hair is fine and wavy, but thick, if that makes sense. I wash it every day if I'm working or going out somewhere, otherwise by about 36 hours past the last washing it gets greasy. If I'm not going anywhere, I give it a break by not washing. I hardly ever brush my hair - it's just not needed. It doesn't tangle AT ALL and when I do brush it the curl gets separated and it gets more frizzy.

I have thick, coarse, naturally curly hair. I used to have to wash it everyday and sometimes twice a day. I have dermatitis on my scalp, and anytime I get hot or sweaty it itches and I have to wash the sweat off to get it to stop. Even when my hair was really long, I still washed it everyday.
Now that I am treating my PCOS w/herbs, it's a little better. I can usually wash every other day unless I need to look good for some reason.
And you want to know something else? i quit using conditioner and it cuts down on the rewashing so much. I also make sure I change my pillow case when ever I have skipped a day or two of washing, because the oil from my hair gets in the pillowcase and reattaches to my hair the next night.
I wash my own hair either every day, or every other day.
And here's the good part..........I only have to wash my hairpiece like every week to ten days! It's really rather nice to be able to wake up in the morning and clip in this nice clean already styled hair onto my head and head out the door! (See, hair loss can have a silver lining!)

Whenever I shower (at least once a day, maybe twice). I have oily, naturally curly, long, thick, frizzes easy hair. I have to wash it at least every day & put some sort of product in it. When I get up in the morning, it looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket. I'm not going anywhere in public until I wash it. My Dh should get an award for waking up next to me w/ my crazy, wacky hair.
Eva, don't feel bad because everyone is different. If your hair feels and acts better if you just wash it once a week, then do that. My mom can only wash her hair 2-3 times a week at most because it's so dry. Just do what works best for you. As long as it doesn't smell, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Every day here too. I condition every other day and wash every day.

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
Maybe once or twice a week. My hair is extremely curly, not frizzy or oily, and I can get away with not brushing it because of the curl, heh. I do brush it though, so it goes into a sort of pretty wavy type look, but it's extremely difficult to brush it out because it's down to my ass. I usually make DH brush it, haha.
