If soulcysters is progressive enough to have a "rainbowed cysters" forum, why limit this forum for husbands and boyfriends?
Those of us who have PCOS and also happen to be lesbian or bisexual have partners, too. And there are probably alot of partners out there who are very supportive and would like to be involved in this forum.
thats a cool idea. Even making the section for all 'supporters' like when moms come on here for thier daughters and stuff. Or anyone who's close to someone with PCOS.
Why not a "Significant Others", "Partners" or "Those Who Love Cysters" forum? That leaves it open to spouses, lovers, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, family, etc., etc., etc........that way we can be progressive and all inclusive..

ONe thing I just thought of was that you could make a thread in the Rainbow Cysters Section for partners, like a sticky.
I am guessing this section for men was made since men are a bit reluctant to talk directly about stuff and have their own language...women tend to talk about othings more openly. Men can sometimes communicate things with each other that we women can't always as well even if we are clear, precise and totally crystal clear to the point.
That is my guess. God bless.

At one time, we had a forum for mom's etc, but no one used the forum (actually, we've had it twice.) Typically, their questions were posted in specific 'topic' forums.
While it would be 'politically correct' to have numerous other forums, there is a practical aspect, too. If no one really uses it, it takes up disc space.
I agree with the suggestion to start a STICKY thread. If it looks like there are a LOT of people on the sticky, and the topic stays very close to PCOS, we'll revisit the topic.
