I just discovered this amazing cereal today, and feel sheepish, because it's something my boss eats every day, but I never tried till now (I'm a live-in nanny, if that explains why i know what my boss eats). I always thought it looked gross, but it tastes really good, has 36 gm of carb for a 1c serving (28 net carbs), 7 gm of protein, and, best of all, 8 GM OF FIBER! Definitely worth trying out if you haven't already. I'm just bummed, because I'm moving to Israel next month and I doubt they have it there. It would have made a great addition to my breakfasts. I've been avoiding cereals because of all the carbs, but this can work with the IR diet if you add 1 more protein thing (yogurt, etc). Anyway, just thought I'd pass this along and no, neither i nor a member of my immediate family works for the Kashi company :-)
this stuff is sooo good in nonfat stonyfield farms yogurt-kinda like a parfait
. it keeps me fuller than just having a yogurt for breakfast

meds: yasmin. prozac 20mg.
four months of lupron. its not as bad as everyone says.
diet: strict vegetarian. eat organic as much as possible. avoid dairy. unsuccessfully try to avoid carbs.
I love it and so do my kids but I don't buy it anymore b/c even w/ the fiber & protein it still spikes my glucose too much. I haven't met a cereal that doesn't.

Sure do love the cruch though!
That's good to know. I'll have to start checking more carefully. Thanks for the heads up!
Kashi Go Lean Crunch is awesome! I used to LOVE it with vanilla flavored soy milk. There's another Go Lean cereal that has more fiber and less sugar. I forget the name of it, but it looks like rabbit food. It's not as good as the Crunch, but it's softer and in general I think it's a little bit healthier.
It sometimes goes on sale at Walgreens, but the cheapest "everyday" price I've found is at Trader Joe's. I'm currently in Mexico and have yet to encounter it here, but I know it was available in Costa Rica. I don't remember how much it was there, but I remember thinking the cost was quite a bit higher than back home.
Hopefully you'll be able to find it in Israel! Even if it is a bit more expensive, it could make for a nice treat every now and then!

That stuff's great. I eat it with shredded wheat n bran, soy milk, and blueberries! Unfortunately I think it might be a little high GI, no way of knowing though at this point. Good luck moving to Israel!

i bought it a few months ago and fell in love with it..but now i'm hooked on fiber one. I still have some kashi left so maybe i'll throw it in my stonyfield yogurt too.
I had it for the first time the other day at a coffee shop. I opted for a cup of yogurt with berries on the bottom and a sprinkle of cereal on top. It was pretty good, my son liked it, too.
