Question Keep appt at PCOS clinic??

Hi Everyone
Just looking for your opinions. I have an appt scheduled at the PCOS clinic for Oct 31. I set this appt up a few months ago and now......surprise surprise....I'm pregnant! I know they only deal with PCOSers who are not TTC (which we weren't really trying...just not preventing ) and so I'm not sure I sould keep my appt. On the other hand, I may want to go just to become one of their paitents so that after the baby I will ba able to go there without getting a new referral from my GP and waiting another 6 mths or so!
Any thoughts/feedback? Anyone have experience with the clinic that would answer my question?
Thanks for reading!

I would keep the appointment - women with PCOS can have special concerns during pregnancy in addition to special concerns TRYING TO GET pregnant.

My high-risk obgyn is regularly monitoring my hormone levels and will be testing early and often for things like gestational diabetes due to my IR.

hth,

ann
