Anyone else have keratosis pilaris on their upper arms? What do you do that helps? I notice mine is getting progressively worse, it's irritating the heck out of me! LOL
I have KP, not only on upper arms and lower arms but also down along my sides and across my tummy. Seems like not much helps. I use salt scrub to exfoliate 2x per week, and moisturizer every day. Waxing the hair on my arms helps some but not enough that I take time to do it much, mostly just in summer.

I have it too - my dermatologist said to exfoliate and moisturize, but I guess I don't do it often enough to see if it really helps. I hate it because I already have thick, "lunch lady" arms and this just makes look even better!

Hi ladies, I've had KP forever! I did the exfoliate and moisturize thing but it just didn't produce any results. Up until a couple of days ago I was set on my Dermadoctor's KP duty, but I did a little more research and decided to buy Buckthorn oil soap before I plop down $50 for the other stuff. I think the soap is like $5 at health stores.
jallyson, there's a kp support message board. it was nice to read what other people are using.
I've had KP on my upper arms for about 10 years, but since the my hormones have gotten worse, the KP has too. It's now spread to my forearms and my thighs and calves.
I've heard that fish oil supplements can help with KP. I'm going try that as soon as I get my lab results back...
I have this mainly on my forearms. Took forever to get someone to figure out what it was. I was sold a warming/exfoliating scrub by the dermatologist to use twice as week, and salex lotion. I have a hard time keeping up with it though. I think another option is to use a buff puff on your arms, and follow up with a good lotion.
