My 4 yr old DS and I were watching The Adoption Story (I am addicted to it) together. The adoptive parents were crying and hugging the baby. DS said why are they crying mommy. So I explained to him that they were a mommy and daddy who wanted a baby so much, but it couldn't grow in the mommy's tummy. So they flew to Columbia to adopt a baby who didn't have a mommy that could take care of her. And they were so happy to have her they were crying happy tears. So DS says "Let's get a baby" and I ask him where he thinks we should get a baby from (thinking he will say Columbia) and he says....

"I do not know... How about the BABY GAP!"

It was adorable and so sweet. Such innocent little minds. If only it were that easy

Isn't it amazing how kids minds work? My best friends little boy upon finding out we were going to adopt said "Aw how nice your gonna cop a baby". Imagine a 4 year old little voice, they are sooo cute. What a sweetie you must have.
