My MD put me on ortho tri cyclen to regulate my periods as a result of the pcos. It's also an added benefit that i dont have to worry about unwanted pregnancy as much. Because my hormone levels are lower than "normal" from the pcos, does that mean that the birth control pills are less effective to prevent pregnancy?? Thanks in advance for the help!!

I've never heard of this, no, but by all means check with your Dr if you're worried.
