Me,
Nat, 29, TTC for about 18months, Diagnosed PCOS April this year. Clomid since may. Dh is 27
Cycle 1 = 50mgs CD 2-6, O'd CD26 but no luck, AF came naturally!!
Cycle 2 = 100 mgs CD 2-6, NO O No AF had to use provera after 41 days.
Cycle 3 = 100 mgs CD2-6, Currently at CD13. Fingers Crossed!!
I thought it might be nice if us Australasians introduced ourselves again (?). Im new to the board.

Hi, I am Brooke. I am 29 and from Sydney. I have one son who will be 2 in Nov - he was conceived on natural therapies. We are about to start TTC again. I am torn because I know I need to get my weight down, but my GP strongly suggests that I have endo (about to begin that testing) and I don't want to put off TTC for much longer.
Are you charting your cycles as well as using clomid? I don't know a lot about clomid, but crossing my fingers for you.
Nice to 'meet' you! The aussie forum is not as busy as it used to, but hopefully some of the girls will stop in to say hi. We're a friendly bunch - pop into the 'Doghouse' thread if you like.

Hi Nat! Nice to see you here : ). I'm Amy. 32, mum to 2 kids. Lachlan, my 5 year old is a clomid/metformin baby and Sophie, my 1 year old is an IVF bub. Best of luck with the clomid. Hi Amy & Brooke. I already feel less alone.
Its interesting that you used metaformin amy. I can't evn get my fertility specialist to talk about met.
I'm meeting with a naturopath in 2 weeks brooke. I'm gonna try and use clomid and natural remedies. I am starting temping this month but have regular blood tests while I'm on clomid. ( by the way ..your son is so cute in the picture) | |

I wonder why your specialist won't consider metformin??? It's a shame because it's used pretty freely now....my GP prescribes it for me!!
Some people have some success with using chromium in place of met. It is a natural sugar stabliser. If you're seeing a naturopath soon I'm sure they will recommend it. | |

i am never in the aussie threads i have no idea why
but im hayles preggers with number 2 both succesfull pregnancys (so far fingers crossed) were naturaly concieved with a bit of weight loss each time

I have two beautiful boys. We conceived with clomid the first time and then conceived naturally, lost the baby at seven and a half weeks and then conceived again naturallly and got our second little miracle. We are truely blessed.

Hi!  I'm Debbie, 31 live near Newcastle, NSW and have 18 month old boy/girl twins, Noah and Keltie, who were conceived with 150mg clomid, our 2nd round worked, so we were very lucky!! We were trying for roughly 12 months when we sort help...we are considering TTC for number 3 , but I'm really not sure...
I dont post in the aussie bit really either, I'm more in the Multiple mummies thread and my old TTC on clomid thread!!

Diagnosed in May, am 27 years old, and thankfully have already got 3 beautiful kids. Am not TTC, and am most grateful for having no fertility problems when i had my kids. Seeing the struggle so many ladies with PCOS have with conceiving, i take my hat off to you girls!
