Kat, thank you so much for the sticky that mentions testosterone. My free testosterone has never been taken. My serum testosterone is 58. My lab report says that it is normal, obviously it is quite high...

Also, does anyoone know what a noramal fasting insulin and glucose plasma reading should be.

Mine are as follows:

glucose: 88 mg/dl
insulin 11.7 uIU/ml

Note -- these are fasting levels. They were taken over a year ago. I'm anxious to compare them to my new blood work which was taken a few weeks ago.

My cholesterol is 183. I consider this to be very high considering I'm vegan and don't consume any dietary cholesterol. However, my triglycerides are 44, HDL is 86, VLDL is 9, and LDL is 88. My LDL seems pretty high even though my HDL is high. Two years ago my LDL was very low. Should this be a cause for concern.? I really hope I get my recent blood work back soon so that I can compare everything.
