Just curious, My labwork came back today and was Normal. However My Dr. said there is no way that it could have come back like this becuase I only have to deal with AF once a year and sometimes as little as once in 24-36 months. I am crazy moody, I am thinning in the back on the top of my head, and these cysts are borderline debilitating. Can anyone offer me any words of advice?

Though many of my lab test were abnormal, a lot of women with pcos do have normal lab values. Have you seen an endocrinologist? sometimes they can read more into depth of the testing, such as some people are borderline low, etc, or maybe you need further testing done. Good luck.
Mine were normal too (back in Feb 06, haven't had them tested again) it seems pretty average around here to have normal (or close to it) numbers and still have PCOS

My labs also came back within the normal range. My Dr. said that most PCOS patients have normal labs when looked at on thier own. It's when you put them together and see the ratio difference to get an accurate reading of the results. That was why I was miss diagnosis a couple years before. My Dr. at the time didn't look at the results together. HTH

Unfortunately for us, what a lab (and many doctors) consider the "normal" range are really abnormal for a lot of people. I would get an actual copy of your labwork so you can see the numbers.
Lab normals are just averages... parts of those averages are all the highs and lows that can skew them. Also what is "normal" for the lab is most likely not what your body feels normal at.
I think Kat had a sticky somewhere with lab info in it, but for the life of me I cannot seem to track it down at the moment!
