i finally managed to get my obgyn to do some tests, but i'm wondering if she should've done the LH and FSH levels too? or is that in here somewhere?
the results i have are:
Testosterone - 41
Prolactin - 8.84
Free testosterone - 3.9
thyroid - 1.839
lipids - 175
tryglycerides - 132
high density lipids - 50
low density lipids - 88
B12 - 467
if someone can help me read these, that'd be great.

What day of your cycle were you tested? Most of the normal values fluctuate and Dr's tend to test on or about Day 3 depending on what's being tested.
Talk to your physician about the results...good luck.

My Mood: Points: 9,198.80 Bank: 36.08 Total Points: 9,234.88 | hi christy, thanks for the info.
i'm still confused though...
i'm not sure what day i was tested on - she didn't seem to be concerned about that and didn't ask. i guess i was tested about a few days before my period was due.
i sent a message back via the nurse who called me to ask her 'where has my pcos gone'? lol. if all these values are nomal, does that mean my pcos is under control? i've never been in normal range before.
should i change my obgyn? she doesn't seem to be very clued up about pcos.

Print up the fertility plus page that shows the day of tresting and talk to them about the day you were tested. Hold them to a high standard...you have every right to know why they didn't observe that standard day. Ask if he would be willing to let you retest after your period for a comparison.
Good luck!
