LA is really rare (check out the FAQ thread..I think the average is .0003% of people on met). When it does occur, it is always accompanied by fairly swift onset and it involves things that can't be ignored as you go through your day...malaise, myalgias, respiratory and abdominal distress. The people who get LA usually have risk factors like liver/kidney issues etc.
If you're concerned, call your Dr, but definetly head to the FAQ thread...it will go over the risk factors, symptoms etc and will likely ease your mind. The studies being done now show that people on met have NO higher incidence of LA than the rest of the population and it isn't really a risk factor anymore..
