I know this may not be the proper place to request prayers for my father but I figure you all love God and are willing to pray for anyone that needs the prayers. I just found out that my father has cancer. It is in his lymph nodes and they need to find out where it originated from to decide what needs to happen next! So please pray that it would be God's will for my dad to be a survivor of whatever cancer he has. That God will give him the strength, faith, and the will to want and to get well! Please pray that my mom and my sister can find the same strength in God to believe that everything happens for a reason and it is not God's way of being mean or vindictive for any reason. My mom and my dad are new christians. They haven't even started attending church. They had been talking to a minister for a long time and they have seen my family and I and a family friend going to church and they decided that they wanted part of that and were baptized a few months ago. Please help them dig deeper into their faith in God and win this battle against cancer all the while bringing them closer to Christs.

Heavenly Father, I take the time to pray for Kristi's father. Lord, as you know he is a new christian and has be diagnosed with cancer. I pray that you will pull this family closer to you, bring them peace and comfort in this difficult time. Father, I pray you will lay your healing hand on this man. Please give the doctors wisdom in his treatment and give this man the will to live. I also pray for this mans family, Lord, protect them and comfort them as only you can do. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Kristi, I will pray for your father that our Heavenly Father's Will will be done and that you will receive comfort any way this situation goes. He will give you and your family strength to endure!
I will pray for your father and family also. I know that it can be discouraging, especially for a new Christian, and it can seem like God is mad at us, but he's not. I pray that this will be a test of faith and he will survive being stronger.
