Red face Ladies I need a few prayers today

In a few hours I am going to be attending a dear friend of mines funeral.PLEASE NO BASHING ME WITH THIS I am struggling because she lost her life to suiside this past week. My friend had a ton of problems going on in her life along with medicine changes to treat her mental illnesses and things, and a part of me is mad at her while the other part Im sad it came down to this in her own eyes. I feel like suiside is such a selfish act and she left behind some great kids to mourn her and a child who will be forever changed by finding his mother at home by himself (15yrs).She was a single mother. With dealing with our child that may have a serious health problem to all this with her I worry it may be too much for me to handle but on the other hand I feel like I really need to be there. Ive told myself I am going to go but I just want to ask for a few prayers to help me get thru this ok and for strength I wont fall apart and I can be strong for the kids. Thanks so much to all. Love ya-Lesia

I'm very sorry that this happened!! I had a friend that did the same thing about 8 years ago. It was so hard to attend the funeral. But know that you won't be the only one with mixed feelings attending.

Just try to be there for the family as much as possible!!

I just said a prayer for you, her and her family and friends.

I'm sorry you are suffering this. Her poor son, how very sad. Take care of yourself as well, let those emotions out and consider counselling if you think you can't deal with all that's in your life at the moment. I know how hard it is to try to be strong when all you want to do is crumble. Ask DH for support as well.

hugs.

Thumbs up

Thank you ladies for all that said a prayer. I went and I am actually glad I made myself go. Especially to tell the kids of the love their mom had for each of them and how proud she was of them. It was hard but I made it thru ok and I feel alittle more at peace.
Thanks to all of you for coming thru when I needed ya. Love- Lesia

I'm glad it went ok!!! Those situations are always hard to deal with.

Good on you for being so brave, those kids will remember your words about their mother forever and it will mean so much to them, you did a great thing.
