My endo suggests 70-110 fasting and under 120 two hours after meals. I'm usually in the mid 90's fasting (test before breakfast and before dinner) now that my Fortamet has been icreased to 2000mg. My a1c has always been in the non-diabetic level (5.3 5.6 and 5.1). How often do you test?

Default I am OK

Thanks! This is Jodi's sister Jen and I just want you all to know I am OK. Jodi beat some sense into my head and I finally got out of my funk and picked up my met. (1000 mg bid) I took it last night once I got it, and took my insulin (which I had been severly ignoring). I checked my sugars today and they are down to 164, which I know is still high for fasting but a whole heck of a lot better that 331 (not 363). I am glad Jodi has directed me to this wonderful site and I hope the people here will be able to help me find the strength to make the effort to be a healthier me. Thank you everyone!

Jen
