Welcome mloverstreet.

Happy Mother's Day, ladies. Hope it was fabulous.

My weekend was nuts. I stayed home from work and babysat my 3 yo nephew, who was cranky as heck and kept yelling at me and demanding things. On one hand it pissed me off, I couldn't believe the little *&^%$# was talking to me like that, but on the other it was funny as heck. I knew he was sick and tired. For example, he sat in his little chair, leaned back with hands behind his head and his left foot on his right knee and said, "Aunt Nancy! I want my blanket!" Then, it was "Where's my chicken nuggets?" Then we both took a nap.

It was pouring rain here on Friday so the motorcycle ride upstate was cancelled (and I was really, really looking forward to it). My friend still wanted to go, told me to just wear a white t-shirt. Men are such pigs. But he is sooooo much fun.

I did the 5k walk (I raised $1,000.01) on Saturday morning. The weather was great and I had a good time.

10 of us went to dinner on Saturday night and had a great time. Then, we went to the lounge and met up with 8 more friends. So, these women - lawyers, community health specialists, teachers - get in a fight with some guy and get kicked out. I didn't want to leave but my sister said it wasn't right because they were all waiting outside for me. So, my sister finds another place for us to go and they stay 5 minutes and leave. The &^$*^#@!!!! So, I ended up crying because I wanted to go punch them all. I had to leave a great place because of them, and then they leave.

So, my sister, my SIL, and 3 remaining friends took a cab back to Queens and went to some local bar and partied hard. So hard, that two of us couldn't even get out of bed on Sunday. Well, I got out for 3 hours - I forced myself to go to WW (I lost 1.6) and I went to my mom's gravesite.

Anyway, enough rambling.

Gonna try to stay on program all week. No drinking for me.

Sorry for that long post. I blabbed on so much I forgot what I had wanted to say.

I went to Avenue Friday to get a pair of jeans. The ones I was wearing when I went into the store were a size 24. I left with two pairs size 22 (which were a little loose) and a pair in a 20! I couldn't believe it.

Well ladies, I can say I did not fall off of the wagon...instead I JUMPED off of it, ran as far away as possible and took an automatic riffle and shot it up.

I do not know how I'm going to force myself to get back on track and stay on track with all this stress in my life right now. I'm seriously on the edge.

DH's first day in Texas is June 23rd. I'm PRAYING we find a buyer for our home ASAP so we can find a home down there and move as a family.

We're doing it FSBO since his company doesn't pay realtor fees, and 6% is a HUGE hit to the downpayment we'd have for a home in Texas. (especially with their property tax fees, need the principle/interest pmt as low as possible!!)

Anyway...that's today's stress. Not that there is anything I can do about it, need to let it go...what's going to happen is going to happen no matter how much I fret (or how much I eat).

Welcome mloverstreet! These ladies are awesome!! I think you'll enjoy them!

Jess, good luck on your exams!

Fula, I'm very proud of you for telling your coworker you're not helping her! They need to quit taking advantage of you!

Mel, Hope you had a great weekend!!

Where's crazy?

I forgot who mentioned sizing...but when I was larger, it took at least 20-25lbs before I noticed a change in sizes of clothing. Now it takes abotu 10-15lbs.

Evening my beautiful ladies!

Hope you all are ok

Today i actually stayed on the wagon

I ate

2 slices of jam on toast for breakfast
Packet of quavers for lunch
Baked potatoe with sliced lean bacon and beans which came tinned with sausages yummy
4 cold water mini prawns as a snack!
So i am so chuffed with myself (proabably wont last)
But what was the real thing with me is i noticed i was losing my mobility and my mum sat me down and said honestly i am not getting to you jess but when i saw you come out the shop the other day it looked like your body found it hard to move properly
So i was like no i am not ended up like a fat old prune laying in bed 24 hours a day because im to fat to move about!
Mismel thanks for the good luck i sat my first exam today did not go to welll because the teacher didnt show for our last minute session before the exam
Mel you will be like me you will come to a point when it just happens and u get back on the wagon but believe me it takes time and trys eventually we will be celebrating losing a good amount of weight

Crazy - what dorky friends to get in a arguement with the resutrunt u liked and then they bailed on you any way i would be pissed at that to!
Glad you partied hard shame it came with a hangover aye!

Mel, I'm here, I'm here!

Sorry you are so stressed. Moves can be crazy enough and adding having to sell your house on top of that and it must be out of control. Best wishes to you!

Hey Mel -- I hope you're able to jump back on the wagon, but don't beat yourself up about it. If you are going through a really stressful time right now, it might not be bad to remind yourself that maintaining without gaining is an accomplishment in itself, and set that for your goal until you get to a less crazy place in life.

I had asked about the sizing - glad to hear I'm not alone. I've now lost 16.5 lbs and my size hasn't changed a bit, though I'd like to believe things look better on me.

This is the last week of the semester for me (I'm taking an online grad class and I work full time), so I'm just trying to struggle through it - argh.

lazybones - congrats on your successful day!

Crazy, where's midpoint for us to meet and drink ourselves to oblivion?

We're going on Vacation Friday and instead of looking forward to it, I'm dreading it - I NEED to get my house ready/sold/done...I do NOT need to be sitting my fat rear on a beach!!!!
