For a long time when i went to the doctors they would just throw birth control at me and tell me that was all I need and left me thinking that I don't have a chance to have kids well, Dr. Hathaway at the OB/GYN Womens center of Sparrow changed all of that He actually listens to me and answers all of my questions He put me on Metformin and took the time to write two letters to my insurance company to get them to cover it, Then he Put me on Yasmin to help regulate me then when It's my time to try to get pregnant he's going to be putting me on Clomid. For the first time in my life I actually felt like a real woman He's a great doctor and I owe alot to him I urge you if you are in the area go to him he's best that I have yet to encounter.

I am also from Lansing and have been looking for a good doctor. Could you give me some additional information about Dr Hathaway. I have been struggling and my doctor has not been very understanding. I have been to both Dr Sauer and Dr Carella hoping for relief.
Dr Carella has been trying to treat me using 1500mg of Glucophage. It has not worked. I ended up feeling ill all the time. I felt bloated and tired all the time. I didn't feel either doctor took my situation seriously. Dr Sauer was concerned about helping me get pregnant. A very noble idea except for the fact I was not in a serious relationship. He basically wanted me to have a child before I turned 35 and I don't necessarily think he cared what my circumstances were.
Dr Carella just doesn't seem very attentive. I find myself repeating the same answers to the same questions at each appointment. He never writes the answers down. I stopped taking my meds and have decided to find a holistic approach. I was taking 1500mg of Glucophage a day and 0.5mg of Dostinex twice a week. I was one of a few patients he had taking both. I kept telling him it wasn't working but all he kept saying was be patient it could take a year to work.
