Question Lap and PCOS

I spoke to my doctor last week about the possibility of having PCOS as wellas endo, she asked if I have had a ultra sound, I havent. Then just said it would have been picked up in the laparoscopy.
Is this true? would they have seen it then. I was diagnosed with endo then.

They would have been able to see any cysts or scars during the lap.

Thats how the diagnosied the endo, it was such a flippant comment I had to ask. Shes past me back to the hospital and it almost feel like a fob off.
I'm sure I have read on here that some woman have had laps then years later found out they had pcos. I just wanted to double check if it was possible that it would have been found that time.
I will tel the hospital when i go, just getting a little fed up of being looked at like a muppet :o)

Well, you don't have to have cysts or scars from cysts to have PCOS. That's just one of the symptoms and ways of diagnosing. The lack of a diagnosis base on the lap, doesn't mean you don't have it.
