Arrow laprascopy for infertility????

I am TTC and recently went to the Dr. for pain in my left side around my ovary. Had a transvag u/s and found a 6.3cm ovarian cyst. I just finished my 1st round of clomid, and went back today for another u/s and my doc wants to wait till my period ends so she can see if it went away. If it didn’t go away she said I may have to have a radioscopy to remove it. Does anyone know if a cyst that big would be the cause of infertility? And if I had it removed after the laprascopy would that increase my fertility. Also what is a laprascopy like? Has anyone had one? I just hope maybe if they had to remove the cyst it would fix some of my issues with TTC, but what I guess what I am asking is if that would have any benefit at all on conceiving?
