Well, still no meds and still no BFP - but alas, I just thought I'd give you all an update.

I have been having periods cyclically (is that even a word !?!) since the surgery.

About 2 weeks ago now, I got a letter from my GP telling me that he was yet to do a pap-smear on me. So I went back to see him, told him what the surgeon had done / found and the GP ordered blood tests to check my FSH:LH ratio- it is 2 and a third to 1.

GP said I need to be tested next month, if still same, back to gyno to be prescribed drugs for baby making.

Will see what happens and will keep you posted

Forgot to mention - I'm still getting period cramps and pains during that time of the month, so I can't help but wonder if the drilling has just activated more cysts rather than done what it was supposed to do...

Hey Taffabella,

I know I reading this a bit late but I wanted to tell you I had the laprascopy done in 2005 and I felt fine afterwards adn did not bleed alot or anything, However I was in the same boat as you, I had this done cause me and my soon to be hubby at that time wanted kids, so i go thru the surgery then when I am done and healed he tells me he wants to wait a while! wow! So I know what your going thru. I was told that i helps you get preg. in 3 months if it worked, i also did not hear how bad it was or what happend during the surgery. Funny how they forget to tell you those things! Good Luck to you and keep us posted!
