Default large soft red bumps on sides, hips, belly and breasts.

Not all at the same time of course, but like.. right now.. I have one big one on my side, under my arm (not in the armpit but below it around where my bra sits) one on the side of my breast and one on my lower belly... They appear out of nowhere in a breakout and the spot gets big and swollen and red but never comes to a head... when I try to pop them they just bleed mixed with pus and then sometimes end up scarring if i try to squeeze them.. i havent had any break outs whatsoever in quite a few months.. but last time this happened it was the same thing.. one on my boob and one on my hip... could this be caused by PCOS or something else? I'm a very clean, dry person.. I try to take care of my skin because of all the skin problems i have these days.. i put sanitizer on the spots to clean the area sometimes.. and sometimes even without it... but they come and go as they please.. always painful and embarassing!!! and.. UGLY... About a year ago i had one under my boob, one of the earlier ones before i started learning how to deal better with them... i messed with it a lot cuz i wanted it to go away, and it ended up leaving a scar! its still there... they take what seems like FOREVER to heal... What is this!?!

I get the exact same thing! They just started this last year. I had a baby a year ago, and I've been breastfeeding, and I have other skin problems like "KP" (looks like chicken skin) on the backs and tops of my arms. I am so tired of skin issues - especially when I have to deal with PCOS and weight problems.

The red bumps turn into huge swollen, painful cysts. They start getting so painful that I do anything I can to "pop" them even though they don't react like acne or other white heads. When I do get them to open up, they drain the bloody pussy stuff that you mentioned. I know this sounds so gross...but that is the only way to explain them. At first I thought they could be ingrown hairs. I get them mostly on my stomach around my belly button, but I also have gotten a few on my breasts. Since my stomach and breasts are the two points on my body that stick out the most (and my belt line of my pants rubs on my stomach), I thought that might be contributing to it.

Does any of this seem familiar to you too? I'm frustrated and don't know what to do about them!

i go through this myself,so i know your pain and frustration. what's worse are the scars they leave behind on my body. i am very fair skinned (think pale like a vampire that's how fairskinned i am) and it leaves deep red and sometimes blue black scars/

i can't stand to look at them and the scars they create and i would never be comfortable letting any man see them either. unfortunately they are all over my body. i have one right now on my hip that looks like a tiny alien is going to pop out of it.
i get them even when my clothes don't rub against it so i think it's just something in the body that's gone very very wrong.

Default I have these, too

Wow, it never even occurred to me that these could be related to the PCOS. I have had these sores on and off for years, as long as I can remember. They hurt! I don't pop mine, though, because I'm squeamish like that.

I had one last month along my bikini line that popped at work and put a big blood spot on my underwear. Ugh, so frustrating.

I'm so glad I found this message board. It's nice to know I'm not suffering alone with all this crap.

What you have is without a doubt Hidradenitis Suppurativa, I have suffered from this for 14 years
