 Laser Hair Removal Advice
I just made my first appointment for laser hair removal and I am so excited. I have already been to a consultation but it was over 2 months ago so I forget all she told me. If anyone can help me with a few questions I have that would be great.
To start off I am getting my face done (cheeks, upper lip, chin and I am hoping under my jaw) After this is done is it ok to shave? She wants me to come in once a month and obviously I can't go that long (now I shave at least once a day). I have been reading how the hairs basically pop out but I assume there are some that don't take to the treatment. Plus I am hoping to have a date *crossing fingers* Saturday night and I want to feel comfortable.
Second should I take some advil before I go into the treatment? I am not a huge fan of pain and that is why I stopped the electrolosis (that and the time/money). I am wondering how long my face will be red for. Normally if I get my eyebrows done they are red anywhere from 1-5 hrs.
Also any basic advice from anyone? I am really hoping this changes my life and maybe just maybe brings back a tiny bit of confidence in myself. I want to feel like a girl and not be so ashamed of how I look. The main reason I choose the laser place I did was because someone finally understood that this was cosmetic and that was OK.
