Default Laser Hair Removal Centers in Kansas City

I am looking for a good Laser Hair Removal center in Kansas city that I can trust. Though I have visited various websites, I have not been able to decide on one. Some help and guidance is required from you guys. Does anyone have any recommnedations and success stories to share?

Default KC Hair Removal

Hi there! I had laser hair removal done at the Skin Care Center in Leawood Ks. www.kcdermcenter.com. 913-754-4949. The lady's name was Georgia Cirese, she's an RN working under a doc's supervision. I had pretty good luck there, but it was $$. I think I had 8 sessions, each averaging about $150. Now I'm getting electrolysis, and I kind of wish I'd done more of that and less of the laser. Feel free to email me at bbcsleuth@yahoo.com if you have other questions!

Jennifer

Hey Jemp,
Thanks for letting me know. I really appreacite it. I had just one question though....you said you had some pretty good luck with the laser treatment, then why did you have to go for electrolysis?

Is there an Ideal Image there? I have done my lasering with them here in Florida and am very happy with the results and confident they know what they are doing. They have several different types of lasers for different types of skin.

While I am fair-skinned with dark hair, which is supposed to be the ideal mix for successful laser treatment, I am cursed with some lighter, but coarse, facial hair. The laser really helped the really dark hairs, but I had quite a few hairs that were actually almost reddish, and then a lot of blonde hairs. I'm not talking peach fuzz either (also have no shortage of that!!)but yucky coarse stiff hairs. So electrolysis is really helping that problem. I guess I have liked electrolysis better just because it feels cheaper (costs me like $30 for 15 minutes--but I say feels, because had I not had the laser first, I would obviously need a lot more electrolysis) and feels somehow more definititively permanent than the laser.

JLucy, there is an ideal image here. I have visited their website. Now that you have told me that they do a good job there in Florida, I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the info.
Jennifer, isnt electrolysis painful?

You know, I don't find electrolysis to be too much worse than laser. To me, they were actually comparable. I don't think either really "hurt"...just kind of a mild sting I guess. Sometimes I wonder if I have a high pain tolerance, though. I had a cracked tooth that I went to dentist for a couple weeks back. She said she couldn't believe I was not in agony--that a crack that big usually results in sleepless nights due to pain. I also had both my babies drug free and while it definitely hurt, it wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined it would be. So sometimes, I wonder about myself...
