Default Laser hair removal this morning!!!

I'm so excited!!!!!!!! and nervous...

I'm getting the hair on my face (in all the wrong places) lasered off this morning at 9am. I'm excited. I'd become an expert at hiding the hairs and it's been "interesting" to have to grow out a bit of stubble. I don't have a full blown beard, but I have stray black hairs on my chin (that seems to be where they're the worst), i have a lil mustache, light sideburns and my eye brows have taken on a life of their own since my pcos diagnosis. It became an necessity for me to wax, shave, pluck, etc to keep the face under control. I've come to hate natural sunlight when I'm talking closely to people bc I live in fear of someone spotting a stray hair that I missed. Damn, I sound obsessed, but I promise it wasn't that ALL consuming. But those cysters with hair in the wrong places should understand the maintenance that accompanies hair in general.

So, I know what to expect. I know that I will be tender afterwards. I have the whole day today and tomorrow off from work and I'M FINALLY GONNA DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an appointment months ago and I got a call THE NIGHT BEFORE that the laser machine broke and would be gone for a good amount of time to be services. Talk about luck!

Anyway, wish me well.......

Default AWESOME!

I'm glad that I prepared for the worst, bc that wasn't bad AT ALL. The laser stung a little bit, but I got to sit in the chair for 15 minutes with numbing cream prior to the start of the laser hair removal.

I think the worst (and it wasn't that bad) was that when the doc was doing my mustache area, I could feel the laser in my teeth. I have such sensative teeth. I'm glad she gave me a heads up before starting that area.

I just got home...had the treatment around 10am and 2 hours later there is no redness or swelling. My upper lip is still a little numb from the cream and that's about it. So far so good.

I made another appoinment for later in the month and will go back a few times to have permanent results.

Anyone who is considering laser hair removal, GO FOR IT!!!
