Hi Gina

Check out www.lasercare-clinics.co.uk, the solent clinic is based in the Royal Hospital Haslar, Gosport. thry also have one in southampton. Many beauty salons offer laser hair removal, but personally i would prefer to go to a hospital. Read the consultant CV's, these guys are well qualified dermatologists and surgeons. There is a price list on the site, I dont know if you can have it done on perscription?? I havent had it done, but i think i will investigate it.

Hi Gina

Small world eh? You will be able to find haslar then!

I just tried by clicking on the above link and it wouldn't work, but i typed the address in at the top of my screen(you know where i mean dont you) and it worked so the site is working.

I read a testimonial from a woman on there and she had treatment on nhs, her gp referred her to a consultant dermatologist. It also says on the site that it can take up to 5 treatments because they can only work on hairs in a certain stage of growth.

I have an appointment with Dr ashton there about my acne and some scars i have and hairs on my arms that i need removing.

Good Luck

Katie

Hi girls - I have been having laser hair removal treatment for the past 6 months. It started off brilliantly. All the really thick man like hair went by the end of the first treatment. The finer hairs seem to be more stubborn but the whole treatment has been really successful - that was until about a month ago when I noticed that fine downy hairs have regrown where the thick hairs once were. I'm hoping that the whole lot will not grow back and if it does that it stays fine and downy and not thick and manly.
The whole treatment for my face cost me just over £1000 for a year of treatments every 3/4 weeks. At the end of the year it will cost me £250 for the next year.
The name of the treatment I have had is called Epilight and it is available in Barnet in London - I don't know where else it might be available. It is different to conventional Laser because it uses a white light and not a red one.

Hope this has helped you - it you want to know any more just drop me a private message.

I had laser hair removal done at Boots. It cost £975 for six treatments of the whole leg and bikinni area. I've had four treatments so far and have had great results I only need to shave once a week at the most now and I still have two treatments left.

The link above has a , at the end of the address, that's why it doesn't work. You can try this link here www.lasercare-clinics.co.uk , or just copy and paste the address into the address bar at the top of whatever browser you use.
