I don't know of any in Toronto, but my best advice is to go through a dermatologist not just a laser clinic. Since dermatologists are doctors they can "deal" more with PCOS issues you might have regarding the hair removal.
I just recently started the laser treatments. My doctor used a ??pulse laser. Can't remember the first word. It wasn't overly painful and I have had great results!

I go for my next treatment tomorrow. (6 weeks since last one). I was "hair free" for a good 3-4 weeks. The hairs that have been treated come to the surface within 2 weeks (can be much sooner, just a few days) and you can very easily pull them out. You can tell the difference between hair that hasn't been treated and hair that has. If it doesn't easily slide out it hasn't been treated. Ask in depth questions and keep moisturizer on face.
The treatments work best on fair skinned, dark haired people. The laser travels through dark hair, not light.
