Default Laser Hair Removal... where WON'T they do it?

A question to anyone who has had LHR. After spending a good deal of time shaving in the tub today (legs, underarms, private areas), I got to wondering if LHR is available in less common areas such as "down there". Man it takes so damn long for me to do it, and I am lucky if it lasts a day. It's so frustrating cause I really hate the feeling of hair anywhere other than on my head.

I don't know but am also interested in hearing some experiences with the girly bits and LHR.

I just can't get past the thought that it has to hurt in those areas, kwim?

hehe, well I would probably totally do it if I knew it would be less frequent than waxing every few weeks. Shaving really sucks especially down there cause of ingrown hairs and how fast it comes back. I would go to have brazilian waxes all the time but they aren't cheap - in the long run it would cost alot more than LHR to keep waxing forever.

I'm pretty sure my sil had her bikini line zapped - so she claimed. Check out some websites of practices near you, or just call some places up...

I've had laser, just not had it done 'down there'. I do know that most places will do treatments on the full girly parts. You have to call and ask the tech. I read about it on the other laser specific forum I visited when researching the process for laser treatment for PCOS.

I've heard that it is often quite sucessful.

Almost every LHR place that I know of will do "down there". They will do just the bikini line, brazillian, or the whole thing if you want. It's pretty common-just check some of the centers in your area. I know for a fact that American Laser Centers does it and they have offices all over the country so there may very well be one near you.

Most laser places do it. I haven't had that area lasered, but I have had my back, chest, breasts, and face done. I have had my "area" waxed before. Its called a Brazilian Wax, and they do EVERYTHING. It didn't hurt as bad as you would think, and it lasts for about 4-6 weeks on me, which is amazing- I grow hair like a weed. I had LHR on my face, and still have to shave everyday. I am super hairy.

I'm sorry, Brooke. The laser needs the dark hair so it can grab it and travel to the root. I have a mixture on my face, and I'm so glad the dark hair at least is going away!

brooke- try electrolosis. that can be done on pale hair, including grey, white and blond.
