Question Laser hair removal while pregnant

Hi, I was wondering if any of you out there has had laser hair removal while pregnant? I just had my fourth treatment at 23% on my face about 4 weeks ago & just found out that I was expecting my second miracle 2 weeks after treatment. The results didn't seem as good as before & I was wondering if the treatments aren't that effective because of pregnancy hormones. I was only 1 month into the pregnancy at the time of treatment. Any info would be great. I want to know if I should stop now & continue after the baby is born.

Thanks!

I went through a year's worth of treatment and thankfully my last treatment was 1 month before we concieved. My hair growth was very slow and very sparse throughout pregnancy and all I needed was to pluck a few here and there (on face).

I go to a dermatologist's office where they use a Light Sheer laser, and I always need to use the Emla numbing cream, my pain threshold is low and I do much better with the cream before a treatment. My derm said she doubts the laser treaments are harmful to a PG woman, it's just that there are no official studies that say so and until then they won't treat anyone PG. She also said that the Emla cream is safe in small quarter-size areas, but left on a larger area it's also unclear whether or not that much Lidocaine is safe in case it is absorbed topically.

I hope you have good luck with the PG hormones slowing your hair growth.
