Default laser in Toronto ?

I am posting again.. I know I asked a few months ago if anyone had had laser done in Toronto or recommendations for where to have it done.. I was just looking for that thread tonight but apparently it is gone so asking again, I know I hadn't gotten any recommendations but someone had said something about seeing a dermatologist first ?? I know there was a reason behind it.. but I can't quite remember.. was it just in order to be able to write off on your taxes ??

i was looking into laser in Edmonton, and i went to my dermatologist first and asked her about it. it turns out she offers laser surgery and its not as expensive as going to a laser clinic and she offered me good advice on my skin tone and hair. I think a dermatologist can offer you suggestions of places to go, advice, and in Edmonton your consultation is covered by health care; i beleive Toronto does as well when i lived there my consultation was covered.
Even if you just went to a reg. laser hair removal clinic, if you keep your receipts you should be able to claim when you do taxes; like when you go to the dentist or the vet.

Your original post is still around in the archives
However it doesn't seem that there were any responses.
Hopefully this time around some one will have a name of a place to suggest.
Good Luck

I've had one session so far at Pure Med Spa http://www.purelaser.com and I am so happy. The hair on my upper lip hasn't grown back in a month and my chin has improved a lot as well. It'll take a few more sessions to completely clear my chin but that's because I cheated and tweezed a week before treatment.

If you have it done by a medical practitioner then it is income tax deductible but you have to spend a certain amount in the year on medical expenses before you can claim anything.
