Default laser treatment - my experience

just thought that i'd share my laser hair removal experience... i went to a good place in my area,,, they had strong lasers so the area was to be smooth shaven before treatment, as the laser was strong enough to get the hair under the skin.. (some places don't have a strong laser and the hair has to be above the skin,, this is not good as the hair can burn and scar the skin) ... i was charged $162 canadian for each treatment.. this cost included side burns, chin and lip.... i did 4 treatments... it is painful,, they have to make the current stronger each treatment,, and the darker thicker hairs need a higher current also... the reason you need multiple treatments is because hair grows in 3 cycles so not all hair will be in the growing stage at the same time... after the 1st treatment after a few days the hair all fall out!!!! is was awsome,, it was hair fee, normal,, i wore my hair up!!!! but after a few weeks the next stage of hairs comes in,, and repeat the cycle... they say that you can expect 70% to 80% of the hair to be gone permently,,, with 20% of that each treatment.... i would say 10% in my case,, but still good... $648 later i was about 50% hairless..... BUT... i went off the pill to try to get preg. within a month or 2 ALL the hair that was gone came back!!!!!!! so it works, but for those of you that are planning to have kids,, don't waste you money,, wait until your done!!!! plus pregnancy does weird this to your body anyway....

Thank you for sharing hun! I am so happy that it works and maybe after you become a mommy and things are settled you can try again. I hope things are going well and I wish you nothing but luck. ((HUGS))
