Default Laser + Tri-Luma?

Hi All,

Im in the middle of getting laser treatments for my neck, chin, face, and chest area and its going great. a little painful but im hoping it will be well worth it!

anyway.. while i am noticing my hair is coming in slower, my horrid skin is not getting any better. I want to treat it with a lightening cream that works fast. I remember Kat bringing up Tri-Luma, but im not sure if I can use that while im getting treatments.

I asked my laser tech about using Ambi during treatment and she told me not to use ir for at least two weeks before a session.

has anyone ever used tri-luma while getting laser? did it mess up your skin?

Hi Nubia!

I also have the dark spots issue. Most of them have disappeared with LHR, but I still have some unsightly dark spots/shadow that don't even cover well with makeup. So this has still been a delimma although I have had the last treatment according to the laser tech (I'm still going for one more!) I use a little Porcelana for my dark spots right now...it works a little, but I'd like something better. I heard Tri Luma was good. I just don't know how laser and TL will affect one another.

In between LHR I have also done microdermabrasion; it helped with my other dark spots from pimples, and also smoothed out the rough parts from all of the shaving, but nothing major yet. The day I can confidently go 100% makeup free is the day I know LHR has accomplished what they it says it does!

Not to give anyone the wrong impression about LHR; it works! I have about 15 hairs left over! I used to have more facial hair than my SO! (lol) My skin just doesnt look quite "normal" to me;...yet. It still seems "beardy" (Especially in comparison with other women with great skin) Yeah, we all do it!

Yes.

Not in any way that was related to the laser treatment. When you first start using tri-luma, it's just like any other retin-a product in that your skin might peel a bit in the beginning.

For me, it worked great. No more spots.
