I had my arms lasered today for the first time and boy did it hurt! I have already been through most of my treatments for bikini and I got the brazilian and it hurt but wasn't unbearable. For my arms I had to stop her a few times. I hope it works well because man was it painful! I didn't get the numbing cream for my bikini but I'm going to have to for my arms next time. I guess since my arms are kind of bony that is why it hurts? Around the elbow was really painful and then she did that tender underside of the forearm where there really is no hair but I guess they have to be thorough and man did that hurt too!

oh they feel fine now. In fact, it didn't hurt once she was done. It was just DURING the procedure that was awful. She even had told me arms aren't usually bad before she started but oh, my, did it hurt!

Hmmm...I hope to get my arms done one day. They are about third down on my wish list of areas to be lasered. It will be interesting to see how much it hurts. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Sorry you had that experience, hope next time isn't as bad for you.

I'll have to remember to use the cream when I get my arms done!
I'm in the process of lasering my facial hair.
Then, I want my belly done.
Then my arms.
Then my bikini/butt.
PCOS is expensive!

so far I've had my bikini and now I'm getting my arms and lower butt. The arms hurt the worst, no question about it. But it's worth it even if the cream doesn't help. As soon as they are done it doesn't hurt anymore. It's only been a week so I don't see results yet, but I am so excited about having it done. I actually can recall having hairy arms as a kid and being totally embarassed about it.

I'm curious cysters...what is the going rate where you are to laser your arms. I have gotten some pretty high quotes, for packages and not. Thanks for any response! Jean

for just the forearms I paid $2200 and they let me split it into two payments. it's a package and then after you complete treatments if you need touchups you are guaranteed for life to have a price of only $1 per pulse of the laser which would be cheaper than a wax probably. I think it's totally worth every penny as I've been plagued with too much unwanted hair as long as I can remember. I got mine done at Ideal Image. Be sure if you get it done you go to a place that specializes in laser and not just a doctor that bought one laser machine. The way the nurse explained to me last time is that all lasers aren't created equal and you have to know which one to use on which type of skin and if not you can burn the person. I know someone who had her face badly burned from the wrong type of laser at a doctor's office so be careful who you go to!
