Default Late ovulation on femara?

I am on my first round of femara and am now on CD 19 and still no O! Clomid didn't have any affect on me whatsoever and my RE wasn't too optimistic that femara would either. I'm just wondering if I should have any hope that it's going to happen sometime this cycle or if I should admit defeat and start taking my progesterone pills so I can start another round and up the dosage to 7.5 mg?

We're set for an IUI in september if nothing happens over the summer, but would so much rather concieve at home than in a sterile doctors office!

Has anyone got any experience on late ovulation on femara?

I just read your post and wanted to let you know that sometimes miracle really do happen. I have done many rounds of clomid, injectibles, IUI and IVF and finally decided to foster to adopt. I heard about Femara and decided to give it a try for a couple of months while we complete the Foster homestudy and SURPRISE it worked the first month. I have a history of m/c so we are holding our breath until our first u/s but Femara worked when very little else did.
I wish you luck in your journey!!

Thank you for sharing your story with me. It's always good to hear about the miracles. I just wish mine would hurry up as well!! LOL. Today is CD24 and still nothing so I'm guessing I'm femara resistant as well.

I know I still have options like IUI and IVF, but I'm still going through a patch of pessimism. Especially because I recently found out that I'm not a good candidate for adoption because of mental health issues. It somehow put the pressure on, that this HAS to work. We have no other options, except for maybe filling our house with cats!

But hopefully our miracle is somewhere around the corner, which will make this all worth while.
