Default Laugh at me, cuz I am dumb!

No really, please do. So I'm on CD 17 with two good looking follies coming along, I should O any minute now. So I decide to get some robitussin and start taking that as I have hostile CM. This morning, I throw the 8 oz bottle into my purse and then run in to the office to update FF. When I finally decide to haul my butt to work I grab my purse and realize it's sitting in a pool of red goo... my aforementioned robitussin bottle wasn't closed from the dose I took last night. So my bag is ruined, and I'm upset, but my poor cel phone took the brunt of it. I rinsed *cringe* all of the robitussin off my phone, and now have it and the battery sitting in a bowl of rice hoping it dries it out.

I consider the phone a sacrifice to the TTC gods. I loved that phone.

You can now go on with your day.

Try a ziplock bag full of rice, that seems to really get the moisture out, my hubby saved his ipod touch this way.

That really sucks! Didn't know about the rice idea though. Hopefully I'll never have to use it. ;-)

that sucks, I did that with my brand new (well not SPANKIN new bought it off CL but new to me) first ever digital camera... I tossed it into the bag with my lunch because I was in a super duper hurry and got to work went to make a new vid for my pcos vlog on youtube and... -cry- my camera was dripping... yah actually dripping. Good news is... my DH felt bad for me so he's buying me a new one for x-mas!!! yay!

Try to think of it this way, if it does not work out... it's an excuse to get a new toy.

haha, my old ass Samsung Alias (which I love) is sitting in bowl full of rice as we speak. It reeks of robitussin. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to take cough syrup again. It powers up, but the vibrate function just stays steady on and it can't find service. Facepalm, big time facepalm.

I can't help but laugh though. I keep hinting to hubby "Droid... Christine wants new Droid" and he had the nerve to reply "this is not the droid you're looking for". I hate being married to a Star Wars geek.

Now you all see why the name's Chaotic Chris!

Well I'm glad I could provide a chuckle or two. God knows we all need it every now and again, and if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

I had to laugh. I think this whole ttc journey can cause a little shortage of activity in the brain. Last month I left my purse at home with my work keys wallet and all at home. I work at a bank and NEED my keys. I work about 50miles from home so there was no way I was turing around, so I had to suffer the day with out all my stuff. However, I some how remembered my lunch.
