On their home page it says they treat PCOS. That aside, what the heck are they charging all that money for? You could spend a fraction of that money at the book store and change your diet yourself with a little research. Or go see a naturopath. Crazy.

I don't know anything about them, so I can't say there's any value or not in their services, but there are many things that we can do ourselves for free vs paying someone else to help us with, so I don't find anything inherently wrong with it...
Clean our own house...pay someone to do it
Cook at home...eat out
Workout at home...get a gym membership and pay a trainer
It all comes down to how you want to spend your money, and whether or not you feel you got what you paid for...

I had a phone consultation with them. Alissa, the founder, told me that their program had cured her and hundreds of other women around the world of PCOS. I just thought that since soulcysters is like "the" site to go to about PCOS...surely someone would have tried them.

Intersting that she used the word 'cure'. That, to me, would be a red flag, and I would ask her to define 'cure'. I would also ask if they're affiliated with any accredited medical institutions (that have an integrated medicine department), or if they work closely with any physicians that you could follow up with as a reference.
Now that the weekend is over, more cysters will be on the board, so you might get some more responses. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Their website also says..."First I began reaching out to other women with PCOS to let them know that their condition was not incurable." and "We help women across the country heal themselves of hormonal imbalances."
I wouldn't see ANYONE who says they can "CURE" PCOS...there is no cure...just treatment! Now we can be symptom free, and off meds...but not CURED...PCOS can raise it's ugly head at any time and throw our systems out of whack all over again.

I had a phone consulation with Alissa as well, but she didn't say that she was "cured." She admitted that if she were to revert to prior eating habits that surely her PCOS symptoms would return and that she understands that she has to eat a balanced diet and take care of herself (stress management/exercize). The program sounds good. If I had the money I'd give it a shot...hell I'd hire a house cleaner, too! Hahahaha...

That sounds reasonable to me.
