I went to the doctor yesterday and he thinks I might have a thyroid issue. He said one of the reasons was that my breasts leak. However, I thought they were supposed to leak milk if you were hypothryoid - and my liquid is clear.
Also, I've read people with hypothyroid are usually sluggish and whatnot. I get tired pretty easily, but I'm generally upbeat and chipper. I guess I'm just wondering if I *do* have it, is all. It's another thing to add to the list of hormone disorders. Bah!
Anyway, do any of you have (or had before treatment) leaky breasts that leaked clear fluid? I have to wait two more days for results and waiting drives me nuts!

MIne has clear fluid if mashed but it doesn't leak out by itself i always wondered what it was although i had a mammogram 2 months ago they said everyting was normal

Have you had your prolactin levels checked I know sometimes when you have Pituatary gland problems it will cause your breast to leak

Hey, I don't want to scare anybody but if you are having breast leakage please do get it checked out. I had breast leakage but it was anywhere from a milky color to a yellowish color. Turns out I had DCIS an early form of breast cancer. I had to have the breast that was leaking removed because the cancer was in all my milk ducts (DCIS-Ductal Carcinoma in Situ which is breast cancer in the milk ducts). After my right breast was removed they watched my left one and it ended up developing the same thing.
I hope you ladies don't end up like me. Please get the leaky boob problem taken care of ASAP. I will gladly warn any woman that will listen so she doesn't have to go thru what I went thru.
My levels have all been okay as far as thyroid, but I have leaky breasts sometimes, too. It scared my husband as I get that when I am pregnant (definitely not pg right now though).
I am curious to see what you find out. I will mention it at my next appointment with my doctor as well.

I've had a thick whitish liquid come out of the middle of my left nipple. I used to have it pierced when I was younger. The doctors have always told me it was nothing? Anyone had the same thing?
