Hi. I wanted to know how many of you women familiar with alternative health and aware of the fact that in order to develop PCOS you must also have Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candida Related Syndrome have been successful in reducing your PCOS symptoms via the treatment of LGS and C-RS.
I wasn't 'aware of the fact that in order to develop PCOS you must also have Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candida Related Syndrome'. Where did you find that information.
I know many of us do have those things. A low-carb diet that is recommended for the insulin resistance that normally comes with PCOS often takes care of, or at least eases, those things.

I have read this in a variety of books, such as Saving Yourself From the Disease Care Crisis, and also learned of it through discussion with doctors who are aware of alternative methods of treatment. One such indicates that he has never seen PCOS resolved via surgery or pill but has always seen those people who have eliminated there LGS and C-RS, completely resolve all symptoms of their PCOS in about two years in so doing.
It is true that a low carb-diet will ease LGS and C-RS somewhat. However, there are other dietary factors necessary to cure LGS and C-RS. This includes all organic food, no dairy, no alcohol, no caffeine, no refined carbohydrates of any kind at any time. At least 3 hours of aerobic exercise every week and very effective skilled relaxation techniques twice daily for at least 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it is often hard to know whether or not your relaxation technique is truly effective without some form of biofeedback or other assessment. This should resolve PCOS within two years according to these sources.

My understanding is that heartburn or reflux is when the valve at the top of the stomach doesn't work properly and stomach acid comes back up the oesophagus, whereas leaky gut syndrome is when imbalances in the system cause a breakdown of the lining of the intestine, allowing toxins to leak out into the body instead of passing through. Whether one has anything to do with the other or not, I don't know.

I think you should do some research on the cause of PCOS and the science behind it. From what I know Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candida Related Syndrome can be caused by Diabetes, obeisity, lupus, Arthritis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and Crohn's disease . PCOS is not caused by these things. Obviously cutting out diary (hormone) products and eating whole grains and veggies will help an individual eat better and lose weight, taking care of the symptoms for PCOS and LGS and CRS. This doesn't mean they are related. For someone who doesn't have PCOS, LGS or CRS losing weight will still benefit him/her by improving heart disease, immune system function, and a number of other things. There's no distinct correlation.
Here's a link to articles on PCOS. Some of them mention the pathology.
And I would maintain that you would do well to do much more research into Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candida Related Syndrome. I have never stated that these conditions were the cause to my knowledge and if I have I misspoke. What I have indicated is that it is impossible to have PCOS without having LGS and CRS and without treating the LGS and CRS it is impossible to get rid of PCOS. You might be interested in reading testimonials of women who have been capable of erasing all evidence of PCOS via the direct treatment of LGS and CRS.
Those of you that are well versed in alternative/holistic medicine might remember that it has recognized the condition of PCOS longer than allopathic medicine.
You might look into a book called Every Woman's Book by Paavo Airola and Saving Yourself from the Disease Care Crisis by Dr. W. Stoll. The first is a quide (necessary for both mother and father) to the resolution of almost all forms of infertility and the prevention of most birth defects after two years of following his protocol. Dr. Stoll outlines, among other things, the correlation between many conditions of unknown etiology such as PCOS and their relationship to LGS and C-RS. After practicing allopathic medicine for over thirty years, Dr. Stoll discovered that it simply treated the symptoms and not the causes of many conditions, thus, preventing their resolutions.
I was very skeptical at first and wouldn't blame anyone else for so being. However, when you speak to people who have resolved PCOS through alternative/holistic medicine akin to Dr. Stoll's theories and you also consider that conventional medicine is unable to do so and only asks that we continually put toxic drugs such as birth control and metformin in our systems, it might be prudent to at least read and consider the hypotheses before dismissing them. You, your health and your fertility are at least worth that much.
Of course, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, as they say.
