Angry Leg cramps and spironolactone!!!!

Can anyone tell me if they've experienced leg cramping while taking spiro? What did you do about it....things that help etc. I noticed soon after starting the meds that my leg muscles felt tight and always feel like they're on the verge of cramping up.......help!!!

I would call the doctor as soon as possible because being potassium sparing Spiro can lead to too much potassium being in your blood. One of the symptoms is leg cramping. You need to get your levels checked to be sure. Too much potassium is not good for the body. I hope you feel better soon...
