Eva - thanks!! Very interesting. I have asthma and high blood pressure. I've lessened my salt intake tremendously, but now it makes me wonder if I need to cut more from my diet.
Thanks again!

Thanks Eva! it's more of the eczema (stupid best buddy of asthma!) that's been bugging me, but my Dr. wanted to start some meds, blah blah blah...... I hope your son's asthma lets up soon!

Eczema? Really? Ooh, I didn't know that! I haven't had it for years, but when I was in my late teens, early 20's I used to get it off and on - and in my mid-20's is when I was dx with asthma. Interesting. Especially since one of my sisters used to get eczema too, and one of my nieces - and they've both been dx with asthma.
Learn something new everyday. Thanks!

daisy - how you feeling today?? I get eczema and my son does too. We use bath oil, and moisturing cream from the dr.
Diane - yes, there is a link between eczema, asthma, and hay fever. Lots in my family have them all - including my son
eva
yes, there is a link between eczema, asthma, and hay fever.
I didn't realize that hay fever was included in that, I just figured that was an "extra bonus" LOL
Eva, Thanks for asking!! I'm still itchy!! My prescription wasn't ready when promised, and I wasn't able to get it yesterday! But the allergy medicine my Dr. gave me samples of is helping! I've been taking oatmeal baths, without much relief. You mentioned that you use an oil in your bath, would you mind telling me what you use? THANKS!!!!!!

aww, hope your meds work soon. It's hydromol emoilient, which goes in the bath. It's instead of soap/ bubble bath. Then 50-50 ointment which is basically like a Vaseline type cream that goes on the skin later on.
