My Re has prescribed femara this cycle. I will be taking 2.5 mg on days 3-7, plus I am on metformin 3X500 mg. What I would like to know, is there anyone out these who has tried famara, who could answer some questions.....
1. What was your dose and what days did you take it?
2. When would you O?
3. Any success with it?
My body is clomid-resistant, so my Re wanted to try the Femara. I am very hesitant and doubtful that I will O on such a small dose.

Sunsicle--There's a thread for people taking femara--You're welcome to join us. If not, good luck this cycle!!!
1. I took 5mg on CD 3-7
2. I don't O on my own, so I go in for an ultrasound on CD15. I've had follies every month I've taken it. I trigger on CD15, and typically ovulate on CD17.
3. I got a BFP in August, but it ended up being ectopic. I'm hoping this will work for me again--but this time a sticky BFP!!!!

2. When would you O? I'm waiting to O. I keep having cramping, but no + opk or temp shift yet
3. Any success with it? I took 2.5mg a few years ago & O'd with trigger & got bfp but it ended in ectopic. This time around I'm waiting O. Fingers are crossed it works for us this time.
