Default levothyroxine side effects?

Has anyone ever had mild nausea on levothyroxine? I've been on it for about six weeks now, and for the past 8 or 9 days, I've had a mildly upset stomach most of the day. I'm usually ok first thing in the morning, but sometime in the mid-afternoon I start to feel a little sick, and it stays that way the rest of the day.

I know I'm not pregnant, so the only thing that's really changed is that I'm on the thyroid med. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I used to get nauseas in the morning when I was on Levo... It would usually die down within a few hours - but it was totally annoying.

It's odd to me that it would be the levoxyl, because you've been on it for so long, and it's only been the last week or so that you've been experiencing the nausea. It would have hit you sooner I'm thinking if it were the levoxyl.

I take Synthroid, but hope your nausea goes away soon! Yuck! I would call your pharmacist and find out if it is normal.

I am on Levo, the main side effect i am feeling is that i can get really tired all of a sudden with no reason. It has happened while i am driving and had to pull over and nap for a wee while.

I keep getting a 'really hungry' thing as well, i just cant get enough!!!

The tired thing isn't from the levo. It might be from not having enough!

I've been taking levo for 7 years now. Same dose. I have to say I have never really had any side effects from it aside from sleep problems. But it really helpd with my tiredness and depression.
