Lexapro 20mg

Well my anxiety has been so bad here lately that I had to go to the Dr today and she increased my lexapro from 10mg to 20mg.

Has anyone had an sideefftects off of 20mg? I got really tired on the Zoloff when they increased it so Im kinda worried about the increase.

I have a 2 year old and I cant be sleepy.

Lexapro did not make me sleepy and I was on 30mg 2x a day. I think that particular medication has very few side effects and you should be just fine.

Yeah lexapro has a very low potential of side effects.. I hope that made sense, lol. I've never gotten any side effects when my doc increased me to 20mg. Only made me happier and less nervous. As for the sleepyness, I've never experienced that with lexapro. But everyone is different..so..good luck

Thanks Ladies! I spoke with my pharmist and she said that it shouldnt make me sleepy and to take it at night just to make sure. She also suggested that I take a pill and a half of the 10mg and just ween myself into it for a couple of days if I was worried about it. I did that last night and I was ok. I did however sleep good. Which was much needed. I so hope this helps me. I need it.
