Well according to my RE, the LH/FSH imbalance is most definitely a sign of PCOS and infact causes all the other hormones to get out of whack and cause anovulation. My ratio is 3:1 and that confirmed my diagnosis right there...Id get a 2nd opinion if I were you.....I did, and it made all the difference in the world........from "your labs are normal" to "your labs are abnormal and you have PCOS"
Fortunately the only thing off balance was the LH/FSH, no thyroid or prolactin troubles, no diabetes either...however I just failed my 1st round of 50mg Clomid, didnt develop any follies at all
