Exclamation LH/FSH Ratio...finding the right meds...HELP PLEASE!!!

I was curious if anyone knew what the best route is for my situation. My doctor ran all my bloodwork and everything came back normal except my LH/FSH ratio was too high. She said my estrogen levels arent high but they are in the normal range. I have PCOS (diagnosed by an ultrasound)but am not insulin resistant. She gave me Provera which worked and she said she will start me on Clomid when I choose. I have read that there are possibly other treatments that women with elevated LH/FSH ratios respond better to....something called hmg?!?! I asked her to start me in metformin, which she did, although she seems to think it wont really help. Has anyone been in my shoes and had success getting pregnant with these, or other meds?
