Default Licorice

Ok.... I read this article Licorice reduces serum testosterone in healthy women - treats hirsutism

Is it safe to take? Has anyone tried it? Is anyone trying it now?

I have been taking liguid licorice on cycle days 5 to 9 for about 3 years now. My hair has stopped falling out. I also take Dong Quai and Vitex (Chaste Tree). I use Rogaine to try and grow back the hair that never grew back on it's own. I also try to skip the starchy carbs most of the time. This routine has given me regular cycles and made the symtoms of PCOS almost disappear so I believe it is working however, I haven't been to a doctor in a long time so I have no medical proof that my testosterone is now low.
